My approach

YOU DON’T NEED TO BE “FIXED”

But something isn’t working.

From the outside, you look capable.

You’re handling things.
Getting through.
Keeping everything moving.

But underneath?

It’s taking more out of you than it should.

This isn’t about reliving your past

A lot of people hesitate to start counselling because they think they’ll have to dig everything up…or talk about things they’re not ready for.

That’s not how I work.

We focus on what’s happening now — why you can’t switch off, why rest isn’t working, and why things aren’t shifting… even when you’re trying.

What we actually do

We look at what’s happening underneath the surface.

Because burnout doesn’t come out of nowhere.

It builds from patterns like:

  • feeling responsible for everything — and struggling to switch off

  • pushing through, even when your system is already overloaded

  • relying on pressure to stay productive

  • tying your sense of value to what you get done

You don’t need to slow down to do this

If I slow down, everything will fall apart.

So you don’t.

You keep going — even when you’re exhausted.

Not because you don’t care about yourself…but because stopping feels risky.

Like things will pile up.
Like you’ll lose control.
Or like you won’t be able to get back to the level you expect of yourself.

Why it’s so hard to change this

For a lot of people I work with, this isn’t just about workload.

It’s about how your system has learned to operate.

You’ve become the person who:

  • handles things

  • delivers

  • keeps everything moving

And over time, that’s become more than just what you do —
it’s part of how you measure your value.

So slowing down doesn’t just feel unfamiliar.

It can feel uncomfortable. Even wrong.

We work at a pace that actually works for you

Not rushed.

Not dragging things out.

But at a pace where:

  • you feel safe enough to actually engage

  • and fast enough that you see change

NO LABELS. NO BOXES.

You’re not reduced to a diagnosis.

You’re not treated like a problem to fix.

This is about understanding:

  • what you’ve been carrying

  • how it’s affecting you now

  • and what needs to change

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Clear, honest conversations

  • A calm, grounded space (without fluff)

  • Practical support—not just theory

  • A collaborative process that actually moves you forward

The real goal

Not just to feel better temporarily.

But to:

  • think clearly again

  • feel in control again

  • and operate in a way that doesn’t cost you your health

Start here

You don’t need to commit to a long process upfront.

Start with a simple conversation.

We’ll figure out:

  • what’s actually going on

  • what you need right now

  • and the best way forward
